Hope-Full: God is Still All-Powerful

Ephesians 6:10-20

We can be HOPEFUL because God is FAITHFUL.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:10-12

1. The REALITY of spiritual warfare.

• Satan attacks our MINDS through DECEPTION.

• Satan attacks our WILLS through TEMPTATION.

• Satan attacks our BODIES through DEMONIZATION.

2. The RESPONSE to spiritual warfare.

• Put on the FULL ARMOR of God.

“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist… Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:14, 17

• SEEK the truth.
• KNOW the truth.
• BELIEVE the truth.
• LOVE the truth.
• SHARE the truth.

“Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.” Ephesians 6:20

“With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18
